Iranian people holding rallies to celebrate 44th anniversary of Islamic Revolution

The celebration is being held in Tehran and over 1400 cities and 38,000 villages around the Iran.

Nearly 200 reporters, photographer, and cameramen of foreign news outlets as well as over 6,500 Iranian journalists cover the significant event.

Participants at the rallies hold Iran’s flags. In Tehran, people take into the streets all marching towards Azadi Square.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei stated on February 8 that this year’s 22nd of Bahman (February 11) will be a sign of unity and dignity.

Ayatollah Khamenei addressed a group of commanders and officers of the Iranian Air Force and Air Defense as saying that the most important task in the face of this evil plot is to maintain the strategy of unity.

Government officials also take part in rallies every year to celebrate Iran’s independence and its stance against imperialism and arrogance.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi attended the rallies in Tehran and delivered a speech.

Iranian solid-fueled medium range ballistic missile “Sejjil” and “Shahed” drone were among the military equipment showed in Tehran’s Azadi square.
