No limits in expanding ties with Pakistan: Iranian military official

Brigadier General Mokhtarzadeh is the deputy chief for information communications and technology affairs at the Iranian Army. He made the comments during a meeting with Pakistan’s Minister of Defense Production Muhammad Israr Tareen in the city of Karachi, southern Pakistan.

Mokhtarzadeh is heading an Iranian military delegation taking part in the 11th International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2022 in Karachi. The four-day event kicked off on Tuesday, November 15.

The Iranian military official hailed the exhibition, saying that Iran and Pakistan are two friendly countries which should use their capacities to further strengthen bilateral ties especially in defense and military fields.

The military cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad will definitely improve tranquility and stability in the region, he added.

The Pakistani minister on his part said that his country is determined to explore ways aimed at further boosting relations with Iran.
